Summary
Soon after Koo Seung-hyo took office as president at Sang-guk University Hospital, one of the nation's top five hospitals, the hospital chief director dies.
When the chief director dies,who thought his duty was to preserve the nobility of life, the people including Ye Jin-woo and Ju Kyung-min who followed him like their father and wish to keep his will and the other people follows deputy director, who wants to take over a vacant seat of chief director to raise his reputation are opposed with each other.
As the chief director who has been a drag on the business dies, Koo, president of the foundation, uses the deputy director who wants to become a chief director to divide the doctors and the doctors fight back as a strike. However, when the doctors start to realize that Koo is trying to commercialize the hospital, Koo tries to restructure the hospital by taking advantage of irregularities and medical accidents committed by doctors.
