Business Description

1. Foundation Phase (2009~2015)
· 2009: Establishment of Dream Communication.
· 2010~2013: Production of 1,000 comics for feature phones.
· 2014: Launch of webtoon services (TopToon, Bomtoon, KakaoPage, NAVER).
· 2015: Conversion to a corporation.

2. Global Growth Phase (2016~2019)
(1) 2016:
- Launch of <They Say I Was Born a King’s Daughter> on KakaoPage and expansion into China, achieving the top spot in paid comics.
- Awarded the ‘K Content Award’ at the Korea Enterprise Awards.
(2) 2017: <They Say I Was Born a King’s Daughter> wins the Best Planning Award at the Global Webtoon Awards.
(3) 2018: Expansion into domestic and global platforms such as Naver and Southeast Asia. MOU signed with Kwangwoon University for nurturing talents in web novels and webtoons.
(4) 2019: Opening of the webtoon character cafe ‘#DCC’ in Myeongdong, Seoul. Expansion of platforms to Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, France, etc. Awarded the Minister of Science and ICT Award for the web drama <The Price of Life>

3. Content Leap Phase (2020~2022)
(1) 2020: Company name changed to DCCENT. Service expansion to Japan, China, Vietnam, the USA, and Taiwan.
(2) 2021~2022
- Joint production of webtoons with Japan's Mecha Comic.
- Service expansion to include Portuguese, Russian, and Turkish.
- Contract signed for the dramatization of <Only Now Do I Love>.
- Production of 7 OSTs for <Adonis> among 6 other IPs.
- Publication of <When the Villainess Loves> and <Adonis> in Korean and French.

4. Era of Becoming a Global IP Leader (2023~Present)
(1) 2023 Achievements
· Co-production with Rakuten: Webtoon titled "Samurai Shin-Ken."
· Language and Platform Expansion: Added Russian and Turkish versions.
· Role in Industry: Served as Vice President of the Korean Webtoon Industry Association.
