OTHERSIDE is a directors' production company based in Seoul, South Korea. We aspire to deliver the stories overpowering the boundaries of commercial and arts.
In 2019, producer/director siblings co-founded the company. Since then, OTHERSIDE has worked with renowned global brands such as Volvo, Samchully, Yanolja, Pfizer, DORCO, JTBC and built the reputation of a small but unique boutique production house. OTHERSIDE constantly tries to break the barriers of the visual genre conventions, and in 2021, won the Commercial of the Year award in South Korea with the Pfizer Korea's neuropathic pain awareness documentary <Listen to your pain>. In 2023, OTHERSIDE took on the international film market with its first original documentary IP <Inventing SoHyeon>, a magical story about a dream of a young South Korean actress determined to shine bright in the K-entertainment industry. It was exhibited as part of KOCCA WelCon K-section at MIPTV France in 2023.
In November 2023, OTHERSIDE's 2nd IP <Migliore Club>, a digital shorts series about a y2k Kpop world, took the Instagram world by storm as the fastest growing contents on the platform.
The company inked the first-ever collaboration with the Southeast Asia's #1 Production Company - ThinkTank (based in Malaysia), for expanding its global audience in the SE Asian region.
