Summary

The story of the TV drama, “Korea–Khitan War” begins when Wang Sun is 12 years old, in the year 1003 when he is forced out of the palace by Queen Heonae.
In 1009, he ascends to power after a coup only to be attacked by the Khitan in 1010.
Afterwards, he rises to become victorious against the Khitan in the Korea–Khitan War which lasts for 30 years.
This epic tale continues for 16 years, ending in March of 1019 when the war comes to an end.
