The main character Leader Aesop and would be writer Presy run a carriage theater putting up plays from town to town.
Among the members of his drama company are some mischievous pigs and tough rabbit named Libbit.
At first, they don't get along very well, since they have to live together in a cramped carriage. However, as they spend time working together in the theater, they get to know and understand each other.
