What if South Korea was a constitutional monarchy?
Goong unfolds a story based on imagination with the unique setting of an alternate monarchical modern Korea.
It is a story of Chae-kyung, an ordinary high school girl who enters into an arranged marriage with the crown prince of the constitutional monarchy of Korea. The arrogant and unemotional Crown Prince Lee Shin and lively and strong-willed Chae-kyeong unknowingly fall in love with each other. However, they hide their feelings for each other, leading to many twists and turns.
