Description

Dawn, who harbors a hidden secret, is a former idol trainee. Wanting to live a "normal life" similar to others, he entered university but took a leave of absence after just one semester. Trying to run in the opposite direction of music, Dawn encounters his own form of adolescence at the age of 20.

Ari is a second-generation Korean-American with the sole dream of becoming a K-pop singer. She left her family and crossed over to Korea alone to pursue her dream. While working part-time jobs to earn pocket money, she diligently attends auditions and takes on challenges toward her dream. However, the reality of being "neither fully Korean nor fully American" is harsh. Moreover, Ari has a trauma known as "stage fright," making the barriers of reality even higher for her.

One day, Ari moves into the share house 'UNIVRSE' where Dawn is living. Together with the other same-age friends who are members of UNIVRSE, they become new family and friends to each other. Through music, Ari and Dawn communicate their thoughts and emotions, overcoming the unspoken pains and wounds they each carry. In the process, they gain the SPUNK (courage) to face their challenges.
