SEOUL, April 22 (Yonhap) -- South Korea's online gaming giant Nexon Co. said Monday it will release a mobile version of its smash-hit title, Dungeon & Fighter, in China next month.

Dungeon & Fighter Mobile will hit the Chinese market on May 21 and be operated by local game publisher Tencent Games, according to the company.

The original version of the second dimensional action role-playing game has garnered an accumulated 850 million users worldwide since its release in China in 2008.

Its mobile version was first released in South Korea in 2022 and won the Korea Game Awards that year.

Nexon said it will first optimize the game for advanced gaming circumstances and improve user experience before releasing the title in China.
