BTS nominated for four 2021 Billboard Music Awards

The Billboard Music Awards revealed Thursday its nominations for this year's ceremony.
Setting a new personal record for the most nominations,.. K-pop mega stars BTS has been nominated for four different awards.
BTS is in contention for the Top Duo/Group award for the third straight year, which they won in 2019, and the Top Social Artist award, which they have won for the past four years.
BTS also received nominations for the Top Song Sales Artist award and the Top Selling Song award for their mega hit 'Dynamite', the first time the group has been nominated in either category.
The 2021 Billboard Music Awards are based on the artists' chart performance from March 21st last year to April 3rd this year.
Having released 'Dynamite' last year, the group were at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for three straight weeks, and dominated the digital song sales chart for an extended period of time.
BTS aren't the only K-pop artists who have been nominated either.
Blackpink and Seventeen received their first-ever nominations this year.
The two groups are in the running for Top Social Artist category, along with BTS.
The 2021 Billboard Music Awards will be held on May 23rd.
The group's legion of fans hope BTS's new single 'Butter' will be showcased live for the first time at the ceremony.
