Anyone walking around the COEX mall in Seoul's Gangnam District, would have likely seen a digital art installation called "Wave", which has been up a few times on the outdoor screen of the mall. It's actually a mesmerizing digital illusion created by local digital media agency, "d'strict." Today we have Lee Sung-ho, CEO of d'strict holdings, in the studio with us to talk about their achievements. Great to have you on the show.

Just yesterday, d'strict received three awards from the Korea Institute of Design Promotion during the Design Korea 2021 event. the Silver Prize for Good Design Selection, the presidential citation for Korea Design Award and the award for Excellent Design Company. Could you tell us about the projects that won the awards?

How did you come up with the Wave project? What's the creative process behind producing this artwork?

What about the Arte Museum? Where is this museum located and what exhibitions are there?

So your company, d'strict, is known to create artworks like these through a technology called "anamorphic illusion." What is "anamorphic illusion" and how does it work?

How do you choose the themes for these artworks?

So, you've seen excitement from the public over these works. Did you expect this type of reaction? Since when did your projects start getting such popularity?

During the summer, d'strict also featured two of its artworks, Whale and Waterfall, at Times Square in New York. Tell us more about that.

What are your future plans? What are some projects that your company is working on? Do you plan to feature more works overseas as you did in New York?

That was Lee Sung-ho, CEO of d'strict holdings. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
