Dubbing strategy makes 'Squid Game' even more global, accessible: WSJ

Experts say a dubbing strategy played a crucial role in making the South Korean Netflix show 'Squid Game' more accessible and popular around the world. The Wall Street Journal reports that 60 percent more viewers watched dubbed versions rather than the subtitled version. 'Squid Game' was dubbed in 34 languages, including French, Portuguese, Hindu, and even Chinese, even though Netflix is not available in China. The report noted that the number of users from watching dubbed versions of Netflix shows has more than doubled compared to last year.
