NCSoft's gaming platform, PURPLE, is broadening its services to include PC game title distribution, transforming it into an all-encompassing gaming platform. Starting at 4 PM today, users can access new PC games on PURPLE, marking a significant shift from its original focus.
The platform's first major partner in this expansion is Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). Korean users can look forward to major SIE titles such as "Horizon Forbidden West," "Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered," "Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales," and "Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart." These games will be made available sequentially, beginning with "Horizon Forbidden West" today.
This development is the first major result of a strategic partnership announced in November 2023 between NCSoft and SIE. To celebrate the launch, NCSoft is offering discounts of up to 40% on the new titles and hosting community events. Users can participate in review and social media sharing events for a chance to win Naver Pay points.
