Reallul Games has updated its AI mystery game, 'Uncover The Smoking Gun,' with the addition of Krafton’s cutting-edge AI voice technology, released on the 12th. The game now features Krafton's advanced TTS (Text-to-Speech) model, 'DiTTo,' marking its first application in a gaming environment.
Developed by Krafton's deep learning division, DiTTo employs diffusion transformers for voice synthesis, providing more natural and adaptable voice outputs compared to traditional TTS technologies. Thanks to this update, robotic suspects in the game now respond with AI-generated voices in addition to text, significantly enhancing the player experience. Currently, only English voices are available, but there are plans to include other languages, such as Korean.
Additionally, the update has increased the game's officially supported languages from 8 to 11, adding Portuguese, Italian, and Polish. Responding to high demand, the original soundtrack (OST) has been released as DLC. To celebrate this major update, the game and DLC are being offered at a discount on Steam from July 12 to 26.
