Detail
The Korea Creative Content Agency (KCCA) has teamed up with BBC Studios to launch the 'Global Broadcast Video and OTT Platform Linked Production Support Project.' This initiative is designed to enhance the global reach of Korean content. Interested companies are encouraged to apply by the 25th.
The project stems from a strategic partnership established on August 27 between KCCA and BBC Studios to boost the global distribution of Korean content. This collaboration seeks to tackle the challenges faced in the domestic content production landscape by supporting high-quality content creation and investment, thereby expanding the global distribution of broadcast and video content.
Through this project, KCCA and BBC Studios will allocate approximately 1.2 billion KRW to non-drama factual genre projects. It aims to assist Korean production companies by enabling them to co-own intellectual property with BBC Studios, receive production investment support, and gain access to global platforms, ensuring a smooth entry into international markets.
