Waffo, a company specializing in AI, released the first episode of 'Hongjini's Restaurant,' created using their AI video tool 'Snowpie-VS,' on their official YouTube channel. The animation centers on Hongjini, a restaurant owner, and her mysterious spice jar, Toktoki, featuring various customers' stories in an omnibus format. This ten-part series marks the first AI-generated animation in Korea, with all production processes handled by AI except planning.
This technological advancement allows for natural character motions and expressions while maintaining consistency in characters and backgrounds. CEO Noh Du-ho emphasized that this development offers viewers an immersive and visually outstanding experience. The successful release of the first episode has generated anticipation for future episodes, with the second episode slated for release in August.
