Krafton's Unknown Worlds has revealed that 'Subnautica 2' will feature a cooperative multiplayer mode, alongside advanced deep-sea exploration capabilities. For the first time in the franchise, gamers can join forces with up to three others to navigate alien oceans together, enhancing survival and base-building experiences. This addition comes in response to the strong community demand for multiplayer gameplay.
Moreover, the sequel will implement a new character upgrade system, providing varied and strategic survival skills across both solo and multiplayer modes. 'Subnautica 2' expands the underwater world, introducing unique challenges and exploration prospects. Players can explore ocean landscapes like deep sea cliffs, coral areas, and shadowy oceanic depths, each with its distinct environmental nuances.
The revamped game will also feature an enriched base construction system, offering more creative design possibilities and new survival hurdles like ocean temperature management.
