Detail

Nexon's blockchain arm, NEXPACE, is running the second Pioneer Test for 'MapleStory Universe' from November 20 to 29. This phase integrates blockchain elements with the MapleStory IP to fine-tune the game's user experience and various decentralized app (DApp) services. The test focuses on 'MapleStory N,' emphasizing unique systems like limited-quantity items and demand-based pricing to maintain item value and improve player engagement.
This second testing phase broadens access, allowing more users to join. Participants can link their wallets via the official website, complete attendance checks to earn experience coupons, and trade these for NESO on the marketplace. Moreover, the NXPC Competition Event gives users a chance to win a share of the 5 million NXPC prize pool. Players can also participate in the 'Make Special Name' event to obtain character nicknames using alphabet and number NFTs.
Initially planned for release later this year, 'MapleStory Universe' will now be launched in the first half of next year. This change comes in light of insights gathered from the second Pioneer Test, with aims to further refine the game and boost user satisfaction before its official launch.
