Detail

In a strategic move to enhance its B TV kids offerings, SK Broadband, in partnership with SK Telecom, plans to integrate AI-driven content. The company is set to launch features like 'AI Storytelling Fairy Tales' and 'AI English Dubbing Songs' on its B TV ZEM kids platform, designed to engage and educate children while appealing to parents.
The 'AI Storytelling Fairy Tales' feature adapts SK Telecom's AI technology to transform text-based storybooks into video-on-demand content. This includes AI-generated elements such as backgrounds, characters, dialogue, and emotions. Each storybook concludes with interactive questions to enhance children's reading comprehension and emotional intelligence. Beginning this month, a new selection of 12 fairy tales will be rolled out on both B TV and the mobile B TV platform.
Simultaneously, the 'AI English Dubbing Songs,' inspired by "Smartie's Picture Diary Songs," utilizes Acting TTS for synthesizing and converting voices to create unique character voices. This initiative aims at facilitating English learning through music. SK Broadband aims to produce 72 VOD offerings by early next year. Lee Kang-hee, the Segment Marketing Lead at SK Broadband, highlighted the goal of leveraging AI technology to deliver superior services that meet the expectations of both children and parents.
