Detail
SM Entertainment will showcase the growth journey of its new British boy group in a BBC TV series. The six-part series, "Made in Korea: The K-Pop Experience," will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer this summer.
The boy group, formed through collaboration between SM, Kakao Entertainment's North American integrated corporation, and British entertainment company Moon&Back (M&B), is set to debut later this year, targeting European and American markets. M&B handled the UK casting, while SM provided music, choreography, and vocal training.
The series documents the group's 100-day stay in Seoul, where they undergo K-pop training and develop as musicians. SM's Artist Development Center will oversee their training. Nigel Hall, co-founder of M&B, stated that forming a British boy band and putting them through the unparalleled K-pop training process to present them on the global stage is a world first and a must-see broadcast.
