The Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) will host the 'K-Story & Comics in America' event from July 24-28 at the AC Hotel in Los Angeles. This event aims to promote Korean webtoons and offer interactive experiences with related games and animations. For the first time, the event will feature both B2B and B2C activities, including a digital library showcasing over 40 webtoons and an interactive IP space.
The event will coincide with KCON LA 2024, targeting American consumers interested in Korean culture. B2B participants include 14 companies seeking to expand their IPs through meetings with local buyers. This marks the beginning of further expansions in Japan, Southeast Asia, and Europe. KOCCA expects the event to boost awareness and readership of K-webtoons among local attendees.
