On the 22nd, MBC C&I held a Pitching Day to reveal the first outcomes of the 'AI·XR Content Utilization Multi-Platform Drama Planning and Development Lab,' showcasing scripts and project plans. This initiative is part of the '2024 New Media New Technology Content Lab' by the Korea Creative Content Agency, aimed at enhancing the creative capabilities of new creators over five months from June 1 to October 31.
Selected from 64 applicants, 12 creators participated in the lab, using tools like chatGPT for scriptwriting and Stable Diffusion and MidJourney for generative AI content creation. The event started with an open lecture by Professor Lee Dae-young on storytelling techniques.
Four projects were selected for further development: 'Pursuing Romance, Reality is a Mess,' 'After Sapiens,' 'Green Gold,' and 'How Did You Fix the Horizon Coordinate System, Youtubers?' These projects will receive pilot production support and commercialization opportunities. Additionally, an AI-Generated Drama Concept Art Exhibition will be held from July 30 to August 9 at Goyang Cultural Creation Hub, showcasing concept art created by AI and the drama plans and scripts from the Pitching Day.
