LG Uplus’s in-house venture, Minimal Maze, has opened its first 'MakeSome Studio' in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, targeting the growing popularity of dance challenges among Gen Z and Alpha generations. The studio allows users to create immersive short-form content using special effects and easily share their videos.
Minimal Maze, which became an independent company in May after proving its business potential within LG Uplus, plans to expand MakeSome Studios to other major urban areas. The venture also plans to launch the 'MakeSome' platform in August, enabling users to share and monetize their content.
Kim Ji-hoon, Chief Strategy Officer at LG Uplus, highlighted that MakeSome is highly valued for its ability to foster creativity among young generations. He emphasized LG Uplus's commitment to supporting innovative ideas through its in-house venture program.
