Art & Meta participated in the National Science and Technology Fair 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand, starting on June 16th, as part of the Korean XR companies' joint pavilion. Organized by Thailand's Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation along with the National Science Museum, the fair is the largest of its kind in the country and this year's theme focused on "Future Science Community."
Founded in July 2022 and based in Chungcheongbuk-do, Art & Meta specializes in developing XR cultural and educational content. During the event, the company presented various innovations, including the "VR Metal Type Casting Experience," which digitally depicts the process of creating the "Jikji," the world's oldest extant metal-printed book.
Art & Meta aims to blend new technologies with art, offering interactive art experiences, especially for children and youth. CEO Park Yong-hee emphasized that their participation in the event not only sparks interest in digital art among Thai visitors but also promotes heritage content education for the digital-native generation.
