Detail

NCSOFT has announced a strategic partnership with Yuhan-Kimberly to promote hand towel recycling and establish a circular resource system. This collaboration includes participation in the BI:CYCLE campaign, making NCSOFT the first gaming company to join this initiative, which aims to recycle hand towels and reduce waste.
The agreement, signed at NCSOFT's Pangyo R&D Center on June 27, forms part of the company's broader ESG (environmental, social, governance) efforts. Notable attendees included NCSOFT's COO Gu Hyun Bum and Yuhan-Kimberly's Head of Sustainable Management Son Seung Woo. The BI:CYCLE campaign aims to recycle hand towels into reusable resources, with participation from 34 companies and institutions nationwide.
Through this campaign, NCSOFT endeavors to create an eco-friendly recycling ecosystem by collecting used hand towels from all restrooms within its Pangyo R&D Center and repurposing them into new products. The initiative is expected to recycle approximately 13.7 tons of hand towels annually, equivalent to planting 1,506 pine trees, significantly contributing to carbon emission reduction.
