This September, the gaming industry is enticing enthusiasts with immersive musical experiences through concerts, DJ parties, and orchestra performances. These events are transforming game soundtracks from digital files into live performances, enhancing the experience for fans and deepening their connection to their favorite games.
Starting on September 6, the game culture festival 'GXG 2024' will feature a 'Game OST Traditional Music Concert' at Pangyo Station Square. The Seongnam Philharmonic Orchestra will perform 14 game soundtracks, including pieces from "Guardian Tales," "Black Desert," and "Dungeon & Fighter." The festival will culminate on September 7 with the 'GXG 2024 Gala Concert,' showcasing the 'Ensemble Heal' cello group and Pearl Abyss's music team playing live tracks from "Black Desert."
On September 6, 'GES 2024' (GamEsportSeoul 2024) at Kyung Hee University's Peace Palace will host a DJ party by 'DJMAX Entertainment,' featuring renowned DJMAX artists like VoidRover, Mr. Funky, and SOPHI. Additionally, Pokémon Korea will present 'Pokémon the Orchestra: Treasured Journey' on September 21 and 22 at the Sejong Center. The Philaq Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jin Sol, will perform music from "Pokémon Scarlet and Violet," providing an orchestral treat for Pokémon fans.
