Detail
NCSOFT announced on October 5th its plans to evolve PURPLE, its online gaming platform, into a unified gaming hub. Starting September 10, the company will initiate a new PC game distribution service for PURPLE, revealing an extensive new lineup of PC titles and their release schedules through the PURPLE Store and a dedicated launch brand page.
Originally launched as a cross-play platform in 2019, PURPLE has been facilitating services for NCSOFT's PC and mobile games. This expansion will see PURPLE integrating various PC game titles alongside NCSOFT's own IPs, offering users a holistic gaming platform experience.
Beyond new game releases, PURPLE will support game build distribution and storefront configurations for partner developers. The platform will also roll out user-friendly features such as 'cloud save' and 'achievement systems,' significantly enhancing the overall user experience.
