The Korea Mobile Game Association (KMGA), led by Hwang Sung-ik, announced on September 12 that it will host its inaugural special seminar and exchange meeting with the Guangzhou Game Industry Association (GGIA) on September 24. This event, designed to promote the growth of the game industries in both Korea and China, will be supported by G&T Global.
GGIA, a prominent and nonprofit organization within Guangdong Province, was established by 12 leading industry leaders in Guangzhou. Approximately 100 representatives from over 40 Korean game companies are expected to attend the event. Key speakers will include KMGA Chairman Hwang Sung-ik, Vice President Kim Hyun-kyu, One Store CEO Jeon Dong-jin, Grampus CEO Kim Ji-in, and Sunny Ro from Airbridge. Additionally, a strategic partnership agreement between KMGA and GGIA will be signed.
KMGA hopes this special exchange meeting will create an ongoing communication channel for both countries' game industries and encourage future collaborations. Chairman Hwang Sung-ik emphasized that this exchange event aims to dismantle barriers between the Korean and Chinese game sectors, signifying the beginning of a new cooperative era.
