The game celebrated its 3.5-year anniversary in Japan by updating its main story and releasing highly anticipated limited characters, "Siroko Terror" and "Hoshino (Armed)." These characters generated significant excitement among fans, contributing to the game's success. On July 21, Yostar revealed the update details during a live broadcast, which drew around 130,000 viewers and trended at number one on Japan's X platform, showcasing the game's popularity.
Kim Yong-ha, General PD of Nexon Games MX Studio, expressed gratitude for the positive response, emphasizing their commitment to delivering satisfying content for players. Additionally, "Blue Archive" has planned several events, including a collaboration with TSUTAYA bookstore, a pop-up store in Akihabara, and participation in Comiket 104, Japan's largest subculture event.
