Kakao Games has entered into a global publishing agreement for two new titles developed by its subsidiary, Ocean Drive Studio, through its European branch. With a strong history of successfully launching games internationally, Kakao Games Europe will handle the localization and marketing efforts for "Lost Eidolons: The Witch of Hypocrisy" and "Section 13."
Ocean Drive Studio will manage the development, operations, and overall service of the new games, which will be available on both PC and console platforms. "Lost Eidolons: The Witch of Hypocrisy" aims to build on the praised combat mechanics of its predecessor while introducing a more engaging storyline with roguelike components in a turn-based RPG format.
"Section 13" reimagines the tactical co-op shooter "Blackout Protocol," transforming it into an action roguelike shooter with enhanced narrative and gameplay elements. Both titles, along with the zombie survival game "God Save Birmingham," will be featured at Gamescom 2024 in Cologne from August 21 to 25 in both consumer (B2C) and business (B2B) sections.
