Lotte Home Shopping's popular character 'Bellygom' is set to expand its international presence significantly by the end of this year. According to Lee Bo-hyun, Lotte Home Shopping's Content Division Executive, the company plans to extend master licenses to multiple Asian countries, the Middle East, and Europe. This strategic expansion aims to broaden Bellygom's global reach.

Bellygom first ventured overseas in October of last year, starting with a licensing agreement in Thailand. This year, Lotte secured further licensing deals for Bellygom in Japan and Taiwan. The character has received robust support from local markets, particularly in Thailand, where it gained 20,000 social media followers within six months.

Bellygom is steadily building its global popularity with its friendly and cute image. Lotte Home Shopping has also debuted a permanent experience facility called 'Bellygom Mystery Mansion' at Lotte World Adventure in Seoul. This attraction, which allows fans to interact with the character, drew over 2,000 visitors within five days of opening. Lotte plans to launch similar attractions overseas as early as the second half of next year.
