The hit webtoon 'Nevertheless' is getting a Japanese drama adaptation, and it's scheduled to premiere on Netflix this December. This project is a collaboration between Studio N, Studio SLL, and Japan's Babel Label, and the Japanese version has been titled 'Nevertheless: The Shape of Love.'
This drama builds on the foundation of the original webtoon, which has attracted over 175 million views, as well as the 2021 JTBC Korean drama adaptation featuring Han So-hee and Song Kang. The new storyline will combine elements from both its inspirations, with Yokohama Ryusei taking the lead role under the guidance of director Nakagawa Ryutaro.
The global release is set for December 9, when it will stream on Netflix as well as Japan's Abema service.
