Celebrating their 15th anniversary, the girl group 2NE1's solo concerts have sold out swiftly in both South Korea and Japan. According to YG Entertainment, the '2024 2NE1 CONCERT [WELCOME BACK] IN JAPAN' performances at Kobe World Memorial Hall on November 30-December 1 and Ariake Arena in Tokyo on December 14-15 have completely sold out.
In response to this massive demand, 2NE1 has added extra shows on November 29 in Kobe and December 13 in Tokyo, increasing the total to six concerts for their Japanese fans. The group originally made their mark in Japan in 2011 by becoming the first Korean artists to top the Oricon Weekly Album Chart with their debut album.
Before heading to Japan, 2NE1 will treat Korean fans to a series of concerts at Seoul Olympic Park's Olympic Hall from October 4-6. Tickets for these performances also sold out instantly, marking their first solo concerts in a decade. Following their shows in Japan, 2NE1 plans to embark on a global tour that will extend into the next year.
