Detail

The 'Series On Board' world tour, organized by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA), is advancing the global reach of Korean video content across key markets such as the United States, United Kingdom, and Japan. This initiative connects Korean content creators with international production companies, broadcasters, and OTT platforms to enhance the global footprint of Korean intellectual property (IP) and explore new business opportunities. Kicking off on September 24, the tour offers private investment presentations and IP pitching events through partnerships with global entities.
Participating in 'Series On Board' are notable companies including RaemongRaein, Astory, SLL JoongAng, Big Ocean ENM, Studio 329, Why Not Media, Eon Content Group, Climax Studio, Diturn, and Something Special. These companies are seeking collaborative ventures, from the sale of broadcast rights to joint productions and remakes, along with marketing and translation support. A prime example is Astory's success in securing a UK remake deal for the drama 'The Day,' showcasing the tour's effectiveness.
Big Ocean ENM is focusing on producing bilingual localized content in the U.S., with Asian leads to meet the rising global appetite for Korean narratives. The company views 'Series On Board' as an essential platform to tackle domestic market constraints and expand its global presence. KOCCA also backs smaller industry players through 'B CAMP' in Seoul, providing vital support for small to medium-sized content creators.
