Summary
<Barnacle Lou> is an EQ growth and emotional development animation series that aired on EBS, designed as an emotional restoration project for all generations living in a uniform digital society. It received the Excellence Award at the 2009 Korea Animation Awards and was newly released this year in a remastered version.
In 2024, an official Instagram account was launched, introducing the story of Lou’s Bakery Cafe to share a message of warmth and harmless comfort. Building on this concept, Barnacle Lou released licensed collaborations with CACAOHOLA Chocolate and SpokeGuard in 2024, and in 2025, expanded its licensing business as CACAOHOLA broadened its chocolate product lineup.
