Summary

Brontë follows the journey of the three iconic literary sisters—Charlotte, Emily, and Anne Brontë—as they defy the prejudices and constraints of their time to claim their own narratives. The musical delves deeply into the intersection of life and art, womanhood, and the structures of society, posing thought-provoking questions such as: “What does it mean to be a woman writer?” and “For whom do we write?” On stage, the sisters’ emotions, wounds, and passion for literature resonate powerfully, offering a timeless echo that still speaks to us today.
