Summary

Seo Dong-Joo is an elite operative.. strikingly handsome, unparalleled intellect with photographic memory and a mind built for numbers. As the Head of External Affairs at Daesan Group, his ability to manipulate nation's political and legal systems is unmatched. But Dong-Joo isn’t just a loyal servant, he has ambitions to devour Daesan from the inside.

Yet, power is never seized easily. Behind the curtains stands Yeom Jang-Seon, a former National Intelligence Service (NIS) chief turned shadow kingmaker. Wealthy, ruthless, and dangerously powerful, he orchestrates nation's elite from behind the scenes, controlling politicians and corporations like puppets on a string. To him, power is an addiction, and money is merely a tool.

In a desperate bid to survive, Dong-Joo hacks into a secret 2 trillion won (approximately $1.4 billion) slush fund, unknowingly setting off a lethal chain reaction. Unaware of the breach, Jang-Seon orders Dong-Joo’s execution trying to erase the traits of the money. Luckily, Dong-Joo comes back alive.. but with his memory wiped out. Upon his return, the breathtakingly intense money game begins after the lost 2 trillion won.

In a world where power is survival and trust is a weapon, will Dong-Joo be able to recover his lost memories and reclaim his place, or will he unknowingly become a pawn in the very game he once sought to control?
