Summary
One quiet night, a small meteorite falls into the Han River, emitting a mysterious energy. Overnight, this energy causes all adults to disappear, leaving only children in the world. Soon, unidentified creatures emerge and begin to hunt the remaining children.
The children gather at a school to take a stand, but the overwhelming surge of creatures pushes them to the brink of extinction. In that moment of despair, Min-woo—a boy who used a wheelchair—is transformed by the meteorite's energy. His legs are healed, and granted immense strength, he rises to fight back against the monsters.
The children eventually discover that this phenomenon originated from the meteorite and that the adults were transformed into these creatures by their own inner desires. To find their parents and restore the world, they form a party and set out on a journey to find the meteorite. Along the way, they meet new allies and draw closer to the source, even as the creatures grow stronger.
In every moment of crisis, Min-woo uses his powerful legs to save his friends. However, they face a conflict with another group of children who, having also gained new abilities that overcame their disabilities, do not want the world to return to normal. They attempt to stop Min-woo’s party from reaching the meteorite.
Ultimately, they succeed in launching the meteorite back into space, and the world returns to its original state. Min-woo returns to his life with a physical disability, but having experienced a profound internal transformation, he realizes his perspective on the world has changed forever and begins to pursue a dream of his own.
