Cult Hunter

On February 15, 1994, Director Tak Myeong-hwan, South Korea’s first cult hunter, exposed the shocking crimes of a cult on national television. Three days later, he was assassinated outside his apartment. The investigation identified the killer as Lim Hong-cheon, the driver of a pastor from a church Tak had recently begun tracking. Despite strong suspicions of a mastermind, the case was closed as a solo crime.

Left behind, Tak's three sons followed their father's destiny, quietly becoming cult hunters themselves. The killer was released 15 years later and left the country.
