Summary
For young children, Hangul can often feel unfamiliar and abstract, which may reduce their interest in learning. Hangeulfriends was developed from this concern as an early childhood Hangul education content that visualizes consonants and vowels as friendly characters. It is designed so that children can perceive Hangul not as abstract symbols, but as concrete, approachable figures they can see, recognize, and grow attached to.
Within the content, consonant and vowel characters meet and combine with one another. Through this process, children go beyond simple memorization and naturally experience the principles of Hangul formation through play. By connecting the emotional familiarity built through the video content to actual learning activities, Hangeulfriends creates a learning environment where children can repeatedly and actively engage with Hangul.
