Summary
“Oy” is an original healing animation story that begins with the question, “Why was I born as a cucumber?”
The protagonist, a personified cucumber—a vegetable often disliked or ignored—finds himself reborn as an abandoned cucumber soap. Believing he is unlovable, he struggles with identity and rejection, until he encounters other discarded beings such as a worn-out towel and a broken laundry soap granny. Through these connections, he begins to understand the meaning of love, sacrifice, and his own existence.
Oy symbolizes the emotional struggles of modern people—such as the need for recognition, self-worth, and loneliness. Through a narrative in which a small, seemingly insignificant being devotes himself to others, the story delivers a message of deep healing and purification.
This work resonates across all age groups, from children to adults, and is currently distributed as an audiobook and e-book. It is a foundational IP with great potential for expansion into animation, character, goods, and therapeutic content.

Storythinking Lab
"Little beings, deep reflections."
Storythinking Lab heal the world through stories of small, wounded souls. Storythinking Lab is a content studio dedicated to the belief that healing stories can change the world. We create and develop narratives centered on identity, loss, isolation, healing, and reconnection—offering deep emotional resonance and public-minded value.
We don't stop at single works. Our goal is to create sustainable, expandable story IPs that can live and grow across animation, publishing, merchandise, and educational content. Our OSMU (One Source Multi Use) strategy turns stories into experiences, messages into movements.
At the heart of our creative vision lies our “Healing Trilogy”:
Oy
— A misunderstood cucumber who sacrifices herself to heal the world in a quiet act of love.
Albert
— A duckling who grows up questioning his identity, navigating trauma, and seeking his true self.
Caviar Boy
— A fish who endures suffering while working in a fine seafood restaurant to repay the fisherman who once spared him—quietly confronting a society that ignores its own moral blindness.
These three stories go beyond entertainment. They are quiet but powerful reflections on dignity, empathy, and our forgotten ethics.
Storythinking Lab build sustainable story IPs that aim to change the world through empathy. We continues to create, grow, and evolve IP-based narratives that offer healing, insight, and artistic beauty—building a more compassionate world, one story at a time.
