Synopsis

Seo Junhyun is released from prison, and......

Five years ago, Seo Junhyun, a boy who murdered his father and stepmother, the chief of surgery at Seoyoon Hospital, was arrested. As he is about to be released from prison, Seoyoon Hospital officials begin to move with their own desires. Dr. Seo Pilhwan, the owner of Seoyoon Hospital, who is Junhyun's grandfather; his greedy aunt Aehee, who wants to get her hands on Seoyoon Hospital; his little aunt Sanghee, who shuns her nephew because he reminds her of her past; lawyer Lim Taemin, who protects Junhyun under Seo Pilhwan's orders; and journalist Cho Seongchun, who holds a dubious secret.


Sibling trials, old secrets.

For Nahyun, Junhyun is the only person she wants to protect. She's determined to protect him again, just as she did the day ten-year-old Joonhyun, who has autism spectrum disorder, walked into their home. Just as she saved him from his abusive parents five years ago, she now has to embrace his sadness and pain. Even when his uncles come to visit and assault him and everyone around him looks down on him, Nahyun stays by his side. But when Seo Pilhwan announces that he will pass on Seoyoon Hospital, which he has spent his entire life building, to Junhyun, the siblings' lives are shattered again. And the siblings discover a secret that Seo Pilhwan has been harboring for years.


Perverse Desires and Inherited Tragedy

Like hydrangeas, which bloom in different colors depending on where they are buried, some secrets rise to the surface no matter how hard we try to hide them. Junhyun's mother's death was no accident. Seo Pilhwan is a brilliant businessman and doctor who built Seoyoon Hospital in a poor rural town and made it prosperous. He faked the death of Junhyun's mother as an accident to get him into the family. His perverse love and lust shock the siblings, and another crisis ensues. Seo Aehee, enraged over the inheritance, breaks down the door and tries to kidnap the siblings. With the help of Im Taemin and Seo Sanghee, the siblings manage to escape Seo Aehee's clutches, but the rift between them is irreparably deepened.


To protect he, to save each other

Nahyun realizes that to protect her brother, she must stand up to her family. Nahyun goes to Seo Aehee to stop the threat, and in the meantime, Cho Seongchun comes to Junhyun with a meaningful message. The two siblings take a risk and approach the truth. Soon, the man who holds all the keys dies, and the people surrounding the siblings finally come face to face at the funeral. The family's cursed secret is revealed in a single moment. As they join hands to save each other, will they be able to throw off the heavy shackles and find happiness in their own paradise?
