Summary

A supernatural romantic comedy where bodies are borrowed, fates are twisted, and love might just save the kingdom.. or doom it.

In the heart of a tumultuous Joseon, Yeori, a spirited shaman who has long rejected her fate as a divine medium, finds herself pulled into a chaotic web of gods, ghosts, and palace politics. Despite being the gifted granddaughter of a legendary shaman, Yeori only wants an ordinary life.. until her first love, Yoon Gap, returns under bizarre and tragic circumstances. Once a virtuous royal scholar, Yoon Gap’s body is now possessed by Kang Cheol, an ancient, mischievous Imoogi (a serpent spirit) who failed to ascend to dragonhood. Rumors swirl that Yoon Gap has gone mad, but the truth is far more tangled.

Drawn into the royal palace by the unfolding supernatural events, Yeori becomes entangled with the Palcheok-gwi, a vengeful spirit with deep resentment toward the royal family. As hauntings plague the palace, reformist King Yi Seong, who once outlawed shamans from court, reluctantly joins forces with Yeori and the now dual-souled Yoon Gap to uncover the deadly secrets lurking within the palace walls.
