The Korean Webtoon Industry Association has announced a global partnership with the Indian webtoon platform, DashToon. This collaboration aims to bring a diverse array of Korean webtoon content to Indian readers via DashToon.
DashToon, a leading local webtoon platform, was honored with the 'Most Entertaining Application' award in the webtoon and comics category by Google Play in India last year. This partnership represents a significant step forward in expanding the presence of Korean webtoons in the Indian market.
This agreement stems from a long-term cooperative initiative between the Korean Webtoon Industry Association and Google Play, which has been facilitating connections between Korean and international webtoon businesses since last September. Seo Beom-gang, Chairman of the Korean Webtoon Industry Association, expressed enthusiasm about the potential to present high-quality Korean webtoons to the rapidly growing Indian audience.
