Kapow, founded by partners Agustín Sacanell and Lucas Rainelli, is currently recognized in the international audiovisual market as a versatile production company with successful cases in format sales, content development (both scripted and unscripted), and strategic partnerships.
In 2008, Kapow created “Cocineros Argentinos,” a format that has aired for over 15 years on Argentina’s public TV channel and became a trademark, being exported to countries such as the United States, Mexico, Chile, Bolivia, and Uruguay.
Known for producing titles like “Estocolmo” (Netflix) and “La Jauría” (Amazon Prime Video), in 2022, Kapow premiered “Supernova” (Amazon Prime Video), as well as the second season of the series “El Presidente” (Amazon Prime Video), which moved the story to Brazil and Europe under the direction of Armando Bo. With this series, co-produced with French company Gaumont and Chilean production house Fabula, Kapow became the first Argentine production company to sign an agreement with Amazon.
In 2024, Kapow also premiered its first true crime docu-series, “Nahir, el secreto de un crimen”, for Amazon Prime Video, an original Paramount production.
In collaboration with renowned platforms such as Star+, Kapow produced titles like “Terapia Alternativa” (Seasons 1 & 2), “Los Protectores”, “Diciembre 2001”, as well as for MAX, the third season of “Jardín de Bronce” and “Felices los 6.”
Currently, the company continues to work on new original projects and various collaborations, generating high-quality content for platforms, such as “Envidiosa” (2024), which has entered Netflix's global Top 10 most-watched series in its first week of release.
