- Page One Film was established leveraging over a decade of diverse experience in the entertainment industry, including film, drama, management, and music.
Starting with the executive production of the 2012 MBC drama series "Arang and the Magistrate (아랑사또전)," Page One Film went on to produce the 2014 MBC drama series "Fated to Love You(운명처럼 널 사랑해)," a remake of a Taiwanese drama, which set a record for the highest sale price in China at the time. The Netflix series "Move to Heaven (무브 투 헤븐)," which premiered in April 2021, received widespread acclaim both domestically and internationally, winning awards such as Best Drama and Best Actor at the Asian Academy Creative Awards (AACA), as well as the Grand Prize for Best Creative, Best Screenplay, and Best Actor at the Asia Contents Awards. Additionally, the film "Citizen of a Kind (시민덕희)," based on a true story of a voice phishing crime and released in January 2024, was well-received as a well-crafted commercial film that balanced artistry, entertainment, and satisfaction. The OTT series "Boys Be Brave (고백을 못하고)" adapted from the webtoon of the same title, premiered in April 2024, have been well received internationally.
Drawing on its successful experience in producing works based on original IPs or true stories, Page One Film is currently planning and developing numerous projects based on popular webtoons, novels, and drama IPs, including the hit webtoon "Walpwa (왈퐈)" by writer Kang Hyung-kyu, the ZA Literature Contest Grand Prize winner "Pale Horse (창백한 말)," and the joint development project "Buy Me (바이미)" with To You Dream. Additionally, the company is focusing on content development across a wide range of genres and formats, including the Singaporean co-production project "Last Madame (라스트 마담).”
