Spinion
-
Spinion is a content technology startup preparing for incorporation. It uses AI to optimize Japanese print manga for smartphones. Its core service, SwitchManga, converts publishers’ existing manuscripts and e-book data into a mobile-friendly reading experience.
Action Viewer automatically analyzes panels, speech bubbles, characters, and key scenes, then displays them in the intended reading order. Readers can enjoy manga without repeated zooming or panning. It supports Japanese right-to-left reading and a vertical-scroll mode that allows print manga to be read like webtoons.
Spinion is also developing a publisher CMS for managing titles, prices, discounts, free access, rentals, and promotions, with analytics on reading, completion, purchases, preferences, and user behavior.
Spinion aims to expand the digital value of manga IP through technology partnerships, platform supply, content distribution, and joint projects in Japan and Southeast Asia.
