The 'Syltare' project LIKELION PTE. LTD (Token Non-profit Foundation: SYLLABS LTD.) was established in 2013 by CEO Lee Doo-hee, who was a participant in tvN's entertainment show 'The Genius'. It is an IT company that was converted into a for-profit corporation in 2018.
Syltare is a P2E NFT trading card game (TCG) based on Ethereum, a blockchain platform, in which users compete with each other by composing a deck with a total of 5 SYL cards. A total of 9500 SYL cards were created on the 12th, 1000 for the 1st, 1000 for the 2nd, and 7500 for the 3rd, on the 13th, all sold out in 1 second. The SYL card is a tradable NFT. You can get SYL tokens through the Syltare game, and it is a game that provides fun and rewards to users.
The members are 'Syltare' Lee Doo-hee, CEO like a stylish lion, former pro gamers Hong Jin-ho and Guillaume Patry, former professional poker player Kim Yu-hyeon, and game illustrator Kim Ki-beom. It is made up of experts in various fields.
It attracted Series A-scale investment from Mirae Asset Venture Investment and Kakao Ventures, followed by the global NFT exchange ‘Opensea’.
It achieved first place in Korea and 18th in the global rankings and was exceptionally successful in achieving the global top 10 for a domestic NFT project.
