▶ Korea Release: Expected in 2026
1. Logline
Tall, with a complex about her appearance, including her height and body odor, jang Oi, a practical music major at a women’s university, starts dreaming of a new life after gaining a perfect body through a mysterious perfume called <LOVER>.
2. Synopsis
Jang Oi (21, female), who dreams of becoming a singer, has outstanding musical talent but is burdened by her appearance, including a face like an "oi" (a type of vegetable) and a strong body odor. One day, feeling down, she sells her guitar and, on her way back, is drawn to a shop by an inexplicably sweet fragrance. There, she acquires a mysterious perfume called <LOVER> and discovers that it has the power to transform her into a 'bagel beauty'—a perfect version of herself—every time she uses it for five hours.
With her transformed appearance, Jang Oi begins to do things she had always wanted to do, and even starts a romance with Lee Do-yoon (23, male), a senior in the acting department. While having a great time with Lee Do-yoon, she begins to fall for him. However, she feels afraid to meet him as her real self, Jang Oi. Eventually, Jang Oi performs as Jang Seo-ah’s body, but unlike her original self, Seo-ah is tone-deaf, and the performance ends up a disaster.
Jang Oi believes she can't live her real life as Jang Seo-ah. At the same time, Yang Da-hye (22, female), a senior in the practical music department, becomes jealous of Jang Oi and lies, claiming Jang Oi’s song as her own.
In the midst of her pain, Jang Oi’s best friend, Ahn So-hee (21, female), buys back the guitar she had once sold for her friend and gives her heartfelt support. Encouraged by her friend, Jang Oi begins writing her own songs and suggests that she clear up misunderstandings about her skills at the upcoming regular recital.
Meanwhile, as Jang Oi transforms into Jang Seo-ah again, she is caught by Yang Da-hye, who secretly records it on her phone. On the day of the recital, Jang Oi prepares herself in her original form to perform on stage. Yang Da-hye attempts to copy Jang Oi's song and perform it, but she fails to demonstrate the same level of skill.
As Jang Oi’s performance time approaches, Yang Da-hye plays the video of Jang Oi’s transformation to reveal her secret to the audience. As the crowd whispers in confusion, Jang Oi steps forward and sings, showing her true self. The audience feels her sincerity through her voice. After the performance, Lee Do-yoon finds Jang Oi and expresses his true feelings. Jang Oi, now reassured by his sincerity, confirms his love for her real self, and they decide to be together.
