Summary

"Suicide Club" is an omnibus story dealing with social issues and the deaths of neighbors. It is a collection of short stories with a structure that is episodic rather than continuous. Each episode is complete in itself, and the stories do not follow a sequential format. The stories are condensed to capture the essence of a person's experience, portraying the harsh reality of society, and the despair, pain, and loneliness of those who find themselves in situations where they feel compelled to commit suicide.

The comic is created with the intention of changing the prejudices surrounding deaths by suicide in modern society. The word "suicide" is often perceived negatively and avoided by people. However, just as life includes death, it is time to address it not by avoiding it, but by empathizing with and consoling each other's pain, thereby rebuilding the broken community. This work aims to move beyond viewing people only within the framework defined by privileged society as "normal" and to tell the stories of those marginalized by social safety nets and discriminated against for not conforming to societal values. By listening to their voices, the work seeks to inspire national attention and acceptance of the word "suicide" as one of empathy and consolation, rather than taboo, envisioning a transformation towards a healthier society.
