Interview with Park, Bo-Mi CEO at INAMU
As the global webtoon market accelerates and competition in mainstream genres intensifies, niche categories supported
by strong localization strategies are emerging as a new path to success.
Children’s webtoons -- long viewed as a small, specialized segment -- are now showing significant untapped potential worldwide.
In this interview, we spoke with Park, Bo-Mi, CEO of INAMU, who oversees both service operations and
content production for the children’s webtoon platform AinamuToon .
Under the theme “New Global Opportunities Through Niche Genres,” we explored the global potential of
children’s webtoons , the importance of genre diversification, and the localization strategies needed to
succeed across different regions.
Since founding INAMU in 2016, CEO Park has also contributed widely to the industry, serving as Secretary
General of the Korea Cartoon & Webtoon Federation and Adjunct Professor in the Webtoon & Animation
Department at Dongyang University. Her work across industry practice and talent development earned her
the Achievement Award from the Korea Webtoon Industry Association.
